Come on down to register for the upcoming season, order your uniforms and merchandise, with a fantasitic opportunity to meet & greet club members and ask any questions about the year ahead. You’ll also be able to dust off the cobwebs by playing some drop-in casual indoor beach, with a sausage sizzle and licensed bar running to keep your energy levels up!
Full details regarding the event are available via our Facebook page. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We’ll see you around soon!
Hi all! As you well may know, our indoor season is just around the corner with State League & Reserves starting their season THIS SUNDAY – 28th June! Fixtures are available at https://vwa.bracketpal.com/index/1. Please make sure you have completed full Registration (including club fees) by this Friday 26th June or you will not be allowed to take the court.
We have four mens’ and two womens’ sides competing in the WAVL Divisions which kick off on Sunday 12 July – this makes Season 2020 one of the biggest for the club, an incredible achievement considering the disruptions we’ve had!
We are pleased to announce that we have been able to finalise fees for Division team members; these are available in the Documents or Step 5 in Registration . WAVL Division members have until Friday 10 July to complete the full registration process (Registration Form, VWA Membership and Club Fees).
Training is ongoing at ECU Sport & Fitness Centre; between us and your coaches we will make sure you stay up to date if anything changes. Best of luck to all teams, especially those starting up this Sunday!
I write to inform you of our clubs’ position regarding the COVID-19 situation. As of now (22/3/2020) the advice given by VWA is in line with that of the government: “all indoor gatherings must have less than 100 people in attendance and now have a density of no more than one person per four square metres of floor space.” It is with sincere regret that I have made the decision to halt our training until further notice. I can not in good conscience endorse any group volleyball activities at this time.
Over the next week, I’ll endeavour to assign you to a coach who can recommend at-home exercises and act as a contact for you during these unprecedented times. I encourage you to stay connected with your friends from the club and to look out for each other. Keep an eye on your emails as that’s how we’ll get updates out.
I urge you all to stay safe, stay informed and remain vigilant.
At this stage Northern Stars Volleyball Club is planning to continue with this weeks’ trials, with WAVL Division Trials tonight (Women’s) and Thursday (Men’s) – we are in close conversations with both Prendiville and VWA and will let everyone know if anything changes.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to do the following, as per global health advice; – Remain alert but not alarmed; – Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet. – Cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser where possible. – If unwell, avoid contact with others (stay more than 1.5 metres from people).- Do not share towels or drinkbottles with other people.
As per global advice, isolate yourself if you have: – Visited or transited through China, the Republic of Korea, Italy or Iran in the last 14 days; – Been in close contact with a proven case of coronavirus (you must isolate yourself for 14 days from the date of contact with the confirmed case)

Northern Stars will be hosting a Uniform Day on Sunday 25th February 2.30-4.30pm at Warwick Stadium, home of the Northern Stars.
For new players, or existing players who need new playing uniform or want to stock up on new merchandise, this will be one of your only opportunities to try on and order any of the compulsory uniform and/or optional merchandise for 2018.
Plenty of the committee will be down there helping out so this is a great opportunity to come down, meet all of us and ask any questions you might have before WAVL Trials begin the following Monday/Tuesday! We also recommend bringing down your registration packs as this is a great time to fill them out and hand them in.
If you are unable to attend this Uniform Day – don’t panic! We will have all of the uniform gear available to try on and order on Wednesday 28th February 7-8.30pm at Prendiville Catholic College (where trials are being held). If you are unable to make either of these sessions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
